From time to time WordPress “pingback” function doesn’t work, so I went ahead a posted a link to this via Comments. BTW…I see you discovered one of the themes common in all the pictures!
Thank you very much. I have no idea how this pingback and if this pingback works. It’s one of those features that I’ve never really understood, so thanks for the help. Maybe there’s another thing these pictures have in common, what do you think?
Pingback is another type of link that automatically shows up under comments of the blog you linked to. This only works within WordPress (one WP blog to another), however some blogs do not allow pingbacks….Another theme? Solitude. Lost in Thought. Being Alone. Melancholy.
I could look into another theme to see if that might work. I do so like the looks of this one. Pure and simple. Oh well, can’t have everything. Thanks for the advice and keep on blogging in a free world – The False Prophet
Oh…it’s not your fault!! All Themes offer the pingback function! It’s a technical error that WordPress has to deal with. WordPress often has trouble with pingback function, and it is not anything we can fix on our own
(and now I understand your question re: “theme!” I though you were referring to the theme of the pictures in the prompt!! You have selected a very good Theme for your blog).
Oh no, you were right, I was wrong. I thought you meant I should change the theme of my blog for the ‘pingbacks’ but I do so like the theme I have.
The themes you suggested about the pictures could well be possible. I think I’d go for ‘sollitude’.
First of all, when I went to your blog today I sort of gasped because of your new picture/header at the top. So dramatic! That is one hardcore soul-stealing stare. Whew. I can dig it.
I like the picture prompt idea for writing, and your South Park reference on the last one. I can’t come up with anything else original about the themes and I agree with what’s been said thus far. I would probably choose the second photo to base a story off of. Something ominous about it…those spindly branches and the rain.
Thank you so much for your kind words. I didn’t know I had such a stare in me :D. Those
The guys at occupy daily prompt try their best to give you inspiration and there’s always at least one picture that just does it. I really liked picture nr 2 and 4. I would love to see you write something about nr 2. Give it a go! You’ll enjoy it.

The fourth picture is precious, what a story could be had from that one.
