The Fourth Of The Lost Psalms

Sirius Bizinus from Amusing Nonsense challanged me to write a lost psalm. I wrote four. I will publish them in reversed order. Here’s the fourth one.

Psalm 154

For The Lost Sheep

1 Lordy, Lordy, Lord O Lord
Dagnabbit, we’re lost
And utterly bored

2 Our Tom Tom’s dead
We don’t know
The road we’re on;
Which way to go

3 Lordy, Lordy, Lord O Lord
I know we got here
Of our own accord

4 But we are lost
While on our way
Dagnammit we need you
And so we pray

5 Lordy, Lordy, Lord O Lord
How fast we drove
The engine soared

6 But this place stinks
Like stale French fries
Please guide our way
Through all the lies

7 Lordy, Lordy, Lord O Lord
How we feel
We have ignored

8 Your words of wisdom
And your path
And now we face
Some of your wrath

9 Lordy, Lordy, Lord O Lord
Don’t strike us down
With your mighty sword

10 We have sinned
But now we see
How to behave
Please leave us be

11 Lordy, Lordy, Lord O Lord
Darn it we’re lost
In our little Ford

12 The engine died
Is this our fate
I guess we prayed
But a little too late

Have a prophet-able day – The False Prophet
